May 2, 2007Amatullah: As Salaamu ‘Alaykum
Ala: Wa’alaykum us Salaam Warahmatulahee Wabarakatuhu
Amatullah:
, how are you, Ala?
Ala: walhamdulillah, by the Mercy and Greatness of Allah, I am well
how are you habeebty?
Amatullah: Alhamdulillah, the heart is a little weak, tears have ceased from coming, but Allaah has blessed the limbs with life and a chance for repentance, and to that this ‘Abd is ever grateful
Ala: subhanAllah, wa lillahil hamdu jamee3a
Amatullah: I apologize for the descriptive reply, but you asked, and I wanted to be as truthful as I could
Ala: why would you apologize for such a beautiful reply? subhanAllah, your reply was better than mine
may Allah subhanaHu wata3ala honor us through the deen… Ameen
Amatullah: Aameen
Ala: what a beautiful person you are subhanAllah, may Allah grant you jannahtul firdaws…
Ameen
Amatullah: By the one who is in charge of my affairs, I am not, yet I pray Allaah makes me beautiful in khuluq and makes me better of what others think of me, Aameen
And to you be the same, Aameen
Do tell me, how are the wedding plans?
Ala: Ameen Ameen
walhamdulillah, it seems like they are going along smoothly
but i suppose one never knows until the event actually transpires
and may Allah grant that gathering serenity and barakah… Ameen
Amatullah: We plan and Allaah is the best of planners. In the end, it is never our efforts that guarantee success, tawfeeq is from Allaah
In shaa Allah, I Pray everything goes as planned and better, Aameen
Ala: Ameen
and may Allah grant us that tawfeeq
Ameen
Amatullah: Aameen:D
Ala: i wish i could make you some spiced chai, and sit on the couch reflecting with you
may Allah grant that to us soon… Ameen
Amatullah: Aameen, I pray that you and I are on high thrones facing one another, binded by the sisterhood of Islaam, rejoicing and thanking Allaah for HIS ni3maa upon us
May that blessed day be soon, and may it take place in jannatul firdaus
Aameen
Ala: Ameen!! mutakieena 3alaya mutaqaabileen… subhanAllah Ameen
Amatullah: Aameen
May I share an emotion with you?
Ala: of course!
Amatullah: When I talk/type to you, my heart feels like it is flying, my surroundings calm, and peace decends. I don’t intend to praise, I intend to bring more mu7ibah between us
Ala: subhanAllah, I am glad you shared that… because I felt and thought this exact same thing any time I read what you wrote, walhamdulillah
I don’t even know what amazing measure of Mercy Allah subhanaHu wata3ala has bestowed upon me to have you feel the same way… walhamdulillah!
Amatullah: Indeed Allaah is ever giving, we will not then take heed?
Ala: subhanAllah… may Allah forgive us if we don’t
and may He lead us to rightousness
I was just speaking to a friend of mine about this yesterday.. subhanAllah… and i put some of it on my wordpress
Amatullah: Aameen
Subhana Allaah, I will read it
ya illaahi
Oh Allaah, on this blessed day, bare witness ya Allaah, the angels, jinns, and even the ardh, that I love your slave, Ala solely for your sake, wallaahi innahul haq
Ala: subhanAllah… laa illaha illah ant… Allah has granted me such a beautiful friend, may Allah make me a beautiful friend to her… may Allah make me a beautiful friend to her… Ameen!
Amatullah: Aameen, and to me the same
Ala: I bear witness ya Allah, that from your Greatness, You descended Your Mercy and Compassion to me, and granted me the sweetness of loving Your slave for Your sake… enter us into Jannah together oh Allah.. Aamineen
Amatullah: Hand in hand, In shaa Allaah. By Allaah, may I share my thoughts?
Ala: of course subhanAllah
Amatullah: I closed my eyes after reading that beautiful comment and thought of abu Bakr when Ar-Rasool SalAllaahu ‘Alayhi Wa Sallaam told him that he would be making hijra with him. He weeped out of happiness, as ‘Aisha narrated and commented that she never thought anyone could cry from happiness
Ala: subhanAllah
throughout this conversation I’ve been crying, and when I read that, I realized that it was truly out of happiness, but shame as well subhanAllah
how Merciful Allah is to us, and how deserving are we of His Mercy??
Amatullah: I love mu’adh ibn jabal! And this reminds me of an incident with him and my nabi, SalAllaahu ‘alayhi Wa sallam
He grabbed him (mu’adh) and said, ‘Oh mu’adh, I love you so say”Allaahuma a 3ini 3ala dhikrika wa shukrika wa husni 3ibadika”
Ala: Allahumma a3ini 3ala dhikriKa wa shukriKa wa husni 3abadiKa… Ameen!
jazakillahu khairan for that beautiful reminder of our rasool, sallaAllahu 3alayhi wasallam
Amatullah: May I ask you to head out now?
I must go to sleep, I have work tomorrow, In sha Allaah
and may I suggest the same of you
Ala: that is fine, I am highly pleased at the time that I was able to spend with you tonight
especially since I did not know I was going to be able to
Amatullah: The pleasure was indeed all mine:D
I love you fe sabilillah
Ala: I hope to go to sleep within an hour and a half, I’ve taken a short sleep earlier which was 2 hours… so I am a bit awake… and I should finish cleaning before I head off, even tho I have work tomorrow
Ala: walhamdulillah, I love you for the sake of Allah as well.. may the One for who’s sake you love me for… Love you… Ameen
Amatullah: Aameen, with a smile upon my face and heart I leave you
Ala: take care my dear Amatullah, and Jazakillahu khairan for staying up a little more subhanAllah
walhamdulillah
Amatullah: and know that if this is our last meeting, what a last meeting.
Indeed there is a meeting we shall have (In shaa Allaah) that shall never end
Ala: may Allah grant it to us without punishment, although our souls ever deserve to be punished
Amatullah: with that, I great you with the greating of ahlul jannah, As Salaamu ‘Alaykum Wa Rahatmaullahi Wa Barakaatuhu
Ala: Wa’alaykum us Salaam Warahmatulahee Wabarakatuhu!

*My friends name has been changed upon her request, although her real name is very dear to me*

Reclining thereon, face to face. [Surat AlWaqi'ah (56): 16]

Therein will they recline (at ease): Therein can they call (at pleasure) for fruit in abundance, and (delicious) drink; [Surat Saad (38):51]
Oh beloved,
Umayr Ibnul Humam Al-Ansari (RA) asked:
“O Messenger of Allah, is Paradise equal in width to the heavens and the earth?”
He (SAW) said:
“Yes.”
Umayr (RA) said, “Bak’hin! Bak’hin!” (An Arabic word denoting excitement and astonishment)
The Messenger of Allah (SAW) asked him:
“What made you say these words: Bak’hin, Bak’hin?”
He (Umayr RA) said:
“Messenger of Allah, nothing but the desire to be amongst its residents.”
He (SAW) said:
“You are surely among its residents.”
He (Umayr RA) then took some dates form his bag and began to eat them.
Then he said:
“If I were to live until I had eaten all of these dates, indeed this life would be too long.”
“And their recompense shall be Paradise, and silken garments, because they were patient. Reclining on raised thrones, they will see there neither the excessive heat of the sun, nor the excessive bitter cold, (as in Paradise there is no sun and no moon). The shade will be close upon them, and bunches of fruit will hang low within their reach. Vessels of silver and cups of crystal will be passed around amongst them, crystal-clear, made of silver. They will determine the measure of them according to their wishes. They will be given a cup (of wine) mixed with Zanjabeel, and a fountain called Salsabeel. Around them will (serve) boys of perpetual youth. If you see them, you would think they are scattered pearls. When you look there (in Paradise) you will see a delight (that can not be imagined), and a Great Dominion. Their garments will be of fine green silk and gold embroidery. They will be adorned with bracelets of silver, and their Lord will give them a pure drink.” (Surah 76: Ayats 12 to 21)
Your sister,
An ‘Abd
Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullah,
Dearest Ala,
i was struck hard with these words of Allahu ‘3azzawajal
‘Is not He who has made the Earth as a fixed Abode, and has placed rivers in its midst, and has ;laced firm mountains therein, and has set a barrier between the two seas? is there any Ilah with Allah?? Nay, But most of them know not! is not He who responds to the distressed one, when he calls on Him, and Who removes the evil, and makes you inheritors of the earth, generations after generations? is there any Ilah with Allah?? Little is that you remember! Is not He who guides you in the darkness of the land and sea, and Who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings, going before His Mercy (rain)? Is there any Ilah with Allah?? High Exalted be Allah above all that they associate as partners!’
- Surah 27: ayahs 61-63
subhana’Allah!
Your sister

I didn’t realize at first but the more I read I noticed I was also moved to tears by this post..the ties of brother/sisterhood in Islam haven’t ceased to amaze me, subhanAllah.
The sister you spoke to in the above conversation is a gem masha’Allah and she reminds me of a friend of mine, although I am separated from her now reading this reminded me of how blessed I was to have known her. May Allah keep your bond strong with this sister and all those whom you love for Allah’s Sake.
Ameen
